Big Wonder in a Little Theater​​​
Whether you're young or young at heart, this charming theater provides a slice of magic and lots of laughter with a one of a kind puppet show. In 2007, puppeteer Joe Santoro and his wife Jane purchased an 1885 Victorian house to start the Wonderment Puppet Theater, West Virginia only year-round
interactive puppet theater.
Six original shows each year provide creative spins on classic fairy tales, including The Frog Prince, Peter Rabbit, and The Elves and the Shoemaker. Joe writes and runs the show, orchestrating the sound effects and scenery. After every weekend performance-Saturday and Sunday at 1p.m. doors open at 12:40 - visitors can explore the play area's hands-on actives, wishing well, very own play theater. and the Black Sheep Art Gallery that displays Joe's art works, singing birds and Polly the Talking Parrot. Be careful what you say to Polly. and a photo op with puppet 'Snappy the Shark'. The theater also has a festive party room for any celebrations, with a scripted party that includes special effect lighting, party music, balloons, and clean up with every party.
Joe and hosts will always give personal attention to anyone with a curiosity for puppetry or the making of the theater. It's a one-of-a-kind experience. A magical world of puppets, play. and pure fun for everyone.
